Negative score????

You are likely doing nothing wrong. MSC's are often hesitant to give shops to new folks, especially at the end of the month, when their deadlines are approaching. A large number of folks will do one or two shops and then simply stopped, leaving schedulers to hang out to dry. They are going to be must more likely to take a chance with a new person at the beginning of a month. Keep applying. You can also send the scheduler an email directly.

Another possibility: Are you requesting bigger, more complicated shops, or are you applying for little $10 cell phone shops? If you are requesting more complicated shops, try to get a few simple shops first, so as to establish yourself as reliable.

My first few shops

Charlene -

I don't like sharing specific companies on this forum as it is supported by the MSC's that are registered here. However, there is a different forum that will give you a larger perspective of the mystery shopping world,as it not only pertains to shopping iSS companies, but others as well. It is free and is not sponsored by any particular MSC. I would suggest starting there: MysteryShopForum.

Airport Badge

There are several MSC's that specialize in doing shops at airports. If you sign on with them, you can go through a security clearance with them and get "badged" for the airport. This allows you to go through security without a ticket and shop the various retail locations in the airport. I do not believe that any of these companies use the iSS platform...

I have never personally done this as I have no interest walking around an airport if I am not actually going to fly somewhere, but there are shoppers who do quite a few of these shops. Off the top of my head, I don't know the names of these companies, but I do get periodic emails from therm.

Hello from maine

There are plenty of shops near you... It's just a matter of finding the companies that offer them. :)

Hello to all from St Louis

It's pretty straight forward.... Find a shop on the list that appeals to you and request it by clicking the button. As a new shopper, you will have to wait for the shop to be assigned to you and you might not be assigned the first couple of shops that you request. Once you have a shop, read the guidelines thoroughly. (they will be available after you have been assigned the shop). Then, at the assigned time, perform the task. Thereafter, fill out the online report. Assuming you performed the shop correctly, you will be paid in accordance with the particular company's payment schedule.

Be wary of a few things... In 99.9% of shops, you are supposed to act like a typical customer. You do not want to be memorable. Do not take a shop that you are not certain you will do. Flaking will make make it difficult to get assignments later. If you have questions, email the scheduler before doing the shop.

Recording calls when required - question

You will not need any equipment at all! The platform will take care of it for you. You’ll call a special number and be given a code. The call will then be placed and recorded. It’s super easy.

How can I find my point balance?

If you click the "available shops" tab on the website, a list will come up. If you don't see anything, you can adjust the radius of your search.

If you have not done so, you may need to sign off on all the ICA agreements first under "Provider Contracts and Policies."

I've Finished Registration, Plsease What Next?!

Hi!

I have no idea what there is for mystery (secret) shopping in Lagos. However, I did do a search on this platform and do not see anything within 100 miles of you. So, if you are interested in doing this, you will need to seek out companies that operate where you are. There is a forum where you can get information about the rest of the mystery shopping world... It is just a conversation forum, but if there is much in Nigeria, folks there can point you in the right direction. Google: MysteryShopForum.

Hello from Washington State

You can get out of Mystery Shopping what you put into it. I work full time and just shop on the side. I have earned almost $9K this year (not including expenses for which I have been reimbursed.). I've been doing this for about two years and do put some effort into it. There are folks who make a modest living doing this full time.
