More Selection?

Hi Paul,

The number of available shops does not depend on your shopper level at all - all available shops that you are qualified to do per the demographic requirements (age, gender, etc) are visible to you regardless of your score and level.

The level determines how many of them can you self-assign without having to request them, and also, how likely it is that your requests for shops will be approved by the schedulers - as they take into account the shopper level (and Badges) as proof of experience, when deciding which requests to accept.

The number of available shops depends on how many of them are posted by the MSPs, and changes daily as new shops are constantly posted and done by shoppers.

Near the end of the month is usually when the next month's shops are posted, so that's the approximate time of the month when most shops will be available.

I hope this helps!

iSS App ... helpful or not???

The App does have it's benefits, as Anthony said - it lets you check everything on the go, sends useful notifications, and helps to be able to take photos from within the App, it's more convenient and faster than using the phone camera, then searching for them and uploading them separately. And lots of shops are indeed incredibly easy to complete on the App right after the shop is done, or even in real time, as the shop is being completed.

The only downside I've noticed is that video recordings and large-sized photos can be a nightmare to upload on the smartphone or tablet, since the mobile network and wi-fi are nowhere nearly as fast or stable as my home internet connection, so there's that :)

As for the autocorrect - yes, it's active in the shop comments input too, so it's best to check when you're done filling out each comment, just in case.

Oh and that voice-to-text "dictating" option for imputing comments hands-free - not a good idea. I don't know if it's the way I talk, but the number of times it misinterpreted what I said is ridiculous :)

Hi Donald,

There are over 20 different companies (mystery shopping providers) posting their shops on iSecretShop.com, you can see all of their shops that you can do in your area (or search a different area) directly on the available Shops page once you login :)

I hope this helps :)

Editor requests changes, but I see nowhere to re-enter

Yes, as Judith said - if you have not finalized your shop report, you can always make changes. If you have finalized your report but you still want to make some changes or add something, you can "Un-Finalize" if the report is not too overdue, or you can email the schedulers and ask them to return the shop to you so you can make the changes you want.

Payments

I honestly don't know - but if the MSP is not replying, you can try opening a support ticket and asking iSecretShop to provide you with additional MSP contact info - like a phone number, or an official email address for shoppers support. The response time for those tickets is usually under an hour or 2, depending on the time of day.

Smart phone

I'm a die-hard Android fan myself, due to the functionality and customization options for everything, with a very strong preference for Samsung - never disappointed me so far :)

I am a newbie!!!

Hi folks,

This is how the system works generally speaking:

-Once you log into iSecretShop, go to the "Available Shops" page, and browse the shops that are posted.

-When you see the one you are interested in, you click "View Details" and it will open a pop-up window with all the information on the shop.

-Then, you can either self-assign that shop, or click "Request shop" to submit a request for a specific date. The schedulers are frequently reviewing these requests, so it should be approved soon.

If you are at any point prompted to do the following - please do, it is necessary in order to be able to do shops:

*Sign the iSecretShop Terms of Use or the Mystery Shopping Provider's contract - you can do so on the "Provider Contracts and Policies" page.

*Enter your PayPal email address - you can do that on the "Update Extended Profile" page.

-Once you have a shop assigned to you, you can always view it on the "Assigned Shops" page - there you can see all shops you have assigned, and can click "Complete Shop" on any of them to see the full shop information, the shop instructions, the question, or/and fill out the shop report.

-When you are done filling out the shop report - you click "Finalize Shop" to submit it - it will be reviewed by editors and either approved, or returned to you for additional information (if so, it will appear back in your "Assigned Shops" page).

So, this is how the process generally works on a PC, but the app is pretty similar too.

If you have any specific questions about some particular part of all this, I suggest opening a support ticket through the iSecretShop website or app, and you'll get a response pretty quickly. :)

Cheers!
