On the app, when you scroll down on your home page, you should see a button (tile) that says "iSS TOU" - when you tap that you can read the Terms of Use and accept them by signing your name at the bottom.

Badge Categories ? and suggestion

Hi David,


Yes - there is a badge that is rewarded for being on top of your weekly leaderboard, and is awarded at midnight on Sundays - which is when the week ends.


If you have questions about that badge, please feel free to open a support ticket on iSecretShop and it will be looked into. As for specific shop category badges, please not that those badges are only rewarded once the shop has been reviewed and approved by the MSP, and if you are not receiving them, we encourage you to contact the MSP(s) that posted the shops.

Unable to schedule

Hi Melissa,


Yes - some shops do have specific age requirements - mostly the age compliance shops, where the purpose is to test whether you will be asked for an ID when purchasing cigarettes or alcohol, so you must be "young enough" for them to think there is a chance you might be under 21.

Other shops may have different requirements, such as gender, if for example you are shopping a female hair salon, etc.


Shops with such requirements as age and gender will not even show up on the available Shops page to shoppers that do not meet those requirements, so as to simplify things and make other shops easier to see.


In any case, checking the shop reqirements is always a good idea, and if you try to self-assign or request a shop and the system is not allowing you to do so, you should be able to see an error message stating the exact reason why. If you still think there is a chance that scheduling conflict can be resolved/bypassed, you should contact the MSP and their schedulers will let you know if it's possible to get that shop assigned to you.

In the shop guidelines, you will find the phone number that you need to call - simply call that number, and when prompted enter the shop ID number. You will be automatically forwarded to the location you're shopping, the call will be automatically recorded and uploaded in your shop report once you're done.

Great input Ross! Keep in mind though, that most receipt questions on iSecretShop require the photo of the receipt to be an "image type" file for you to be able to upload it - so .JPEG, .IMG, .PNG, etc (those 3 are most common).
