I hope this helps!
Welcome, welcome!
How do you guys like the system and the available opportunities so far?
Hi Ashley,
You can - you can post multiple times here on the forum to get the Forum Contributor badge, you can refer the iSecretShop to your friends and when one of them uses that referral link to register on iSecretShop and starts doing shops, you should receive a Recruiter badge.
Furthermore, you can complete courses on iSSprep.com, which will increase your shopper score, speeding up the process of increasing your Reputation badge level.
I hope this helps!
Hi,
A lot of people do that - there is nothing in particular that should make it unwise, those MSP contracts pertain primarily to the shops that you conduct for those MSPs, the way they pay you, etc, and are obligatory when you want to do a shop for an MSP, so many people just accept all at once so they would have to think about it when requesting shops.
Cheers!
Hi,
That would depend on the area you're in - sometimes there really are no shops in a certain area at some point.
Also, there are shops that require shoppers to be a certain age or gender to do them, and won't appear on your Available Shops page otherwise.
If you want to see more shops around you, you can set the search distance filter (in the upper-left corner of the Available Shops page, above the map) to 50 or 100 miles, and click the search button (a small magnifying glass symbol in that same row) - that will show you the available shops in the wider area around you. Please keep in mind that this only works on the browser website version - not the app or mobile site.
You can also open a support ticket for iSecretShop and get reliable info on whether there are any shops in your area or not, at any given time.
Good luck!
Hi Wendy,
It would depend on the badge itself - iSS is responsible for maintaining the entire system overall, and for "general" badges that are unrelated to specific shop categories, like Weekly Leaderboard, Recruiter, Legacy, and even the Reputation rank.
However, the specific shop category badges - like Fine Dining, Automotive, Service, Retail, etc - those are set up by the MSP when they create the shops - they have to set their shops in such a way that they grant shoppers the adequate badge when completed, and every shop can only award one specific category badge.
If they have told you that iSS is responsible for the specialty category badge, I would recommend opening a ticket to iSS and asking for that to be looked into - of course, try to provide as much information on the matter as you can, so you'd get help right away, instead of being asked a ton of questions first - proactivity saves time :)
Cheers!
Hi Tina,
When you open the app, the badges should be located right on the top of the app homepage, as soon as you login. You should see them under "Welcome Tina" - when you tap on them, you will be taken to a separate page that's there specifically for badges, and you'll be able to see more details about them.
Cheers!
Hi Daren,
If you are able to see certain shops on the Available Shops page then you meet the basic requirements to do them, regardless of the MSP. There si no certification to specifically qualify you for doing shops for a certain MSP, not increase your chances of getting shops.
I'm not sure which specific shops are you referring to, but there could be a lot of reasons why your requests aren't being approved - if there is a lot of interest for some shops, the schedulers usually give shops to those shoppers that requested them first, and that requested them for the earliest possible dates - they do this to ensure their shops are completed as soon as possible.
Other factors for choosing shoppers whose requests they will accept may include the overal shopper Reputation rank, their specialty badges, previous experience in those shops, etc.
If you want to know more about the status of your requests and/or the reason they were declined in the past, I recommend contacting the MSP directly and asking - their schedulers can give you the best and most reliable info.
I hope this helps!
