Hello from Georgia,

Hello, and welcome. Yes, it can be a bit overwhelming to new shoppers. But it is not that bad. Keep looking around the forum and read other posts under the new shop threads. You will see many replies and get to read what others have posted.

As for email, you will not receive any directly from the forum. Your post will be read by others like myself.

There is a method for sending email directly to individual people who post on the forum, but generally, at least in the beginning, its best to look over the many posted comments to get a feel for things, as you have already stated. This is a good thing. Keep it up.

Not paid by MSP

Also, most MSP pay about 30-45, maybe even 60 days after shop is completed. Often, they do not list a specific date for payment, so note the date the shop was "accepted", then count the days from there. Oh, and this can mean Business Days (only Monday-Friday, not weekends). Check with the MSP on that one, too.

Hope that helps.

Email Overload

Contact your email provider and see if they can assist you on doing a "bulk" delete on their end. Hope that helps.

Notifications

Hi Lisa, the suite refers to the methods that you can use to obtain shops, I believe. That is, you can use your desktop/laptop computer, use the mobile app on your phone, or use your phone browser and go to the main website (as the mobile app does not show the full website). Hope that is some help.

Trouble uploading my profile photo and photo id to app extended profile

I, too, have had the same problem. It won't load the avatar. The picture just remains blank, and the system doesn't even provide an error message. Anybody else had that problem?

Rescheduling

Hi Avery,

Sorry you are under the weather. Had the same thing myself a couple of weeks ago. The best thing to do at this point since your shop is today is to

CALL the MSP scheduler directly, the sooner the better, and explain what's up. They can reschedule the shop for another day. If you don't get the scheduler for the shop, ask to speak to any scheduler. This way, the shop doesn't get cancelled and you don't lose points for not competing it. Hope that helps and feel better soon.

How do you feel about this...

Just an update on this thread. check out using Google Voice. It gives you a different phone number and voicemail to use. And they are both real! Using these on phone shops will save a loss of headache. Recommended on this forum in another thread. Here for others to find and read.

Good luck.

Hello

Good Morning Kristina,

Welcome! There is a lot here. It can be overwhelming. First, I would suggest exploring this forum. There are many responses from other shoppers that have some information which can be very helpful. Second, be sure to read each MSP contract so that you know what to expect as far as the way they pay you (usually PayPal) and how often they pay. Next, if you have not done so, set up a PayPal account (this is the method most MSPs use to pay you). Also, if you have not accepted any shops, look at the various shops listed for your area under your profile on iSS, to give you an idea of what kind of shops are available in your location. Finally, and best of all, reach out to others on this forum. We're all here to help each other out. Welcome again and happy shopping.

What do I do with the W-9?

Does an MSP require a w-9? If so, then in their contract agreement you signed, it should indicate how and where they want you to send it. Like via email in a PDF file, or to a physical address. Also, contact them directly. Their phone number and email should also be listed in your iSS portal.

Hope this helps.

Listening to phone shops

Hi KImberly,

If you do not understand what they are saying, complete the call as best as possible, then contact the MSP immediately. Do not call back the place for the shop as they might suspect you are a mystery shopper. All of the phone shops I have done contain these directions. But, do contact the MSP and get their advice on how to proceed.

Good luck.
